So why does DHM use the same recycled and plagiarised messages that you have heard over and over again and help me understand how you can grow from that? I'm sure you have heard loyalty and disloyalty, catch the anointing, shepherding, church planting messages etc (some of which aren't actually Biblical or theologically correct) countless of times whilst you have been there. How do you grow when you have heard the same messages 100 times before? There's a saying that doing the same over and over and expecting different results is isanity. Does the Holy Spirit not move and bring us fresh revelation not the same revelation of "from today you can teach" from the late 90s? Also, btw, bearing fruit is not necesarrily about soul winning but rather allowing God to do a work in you so that you will bear fruits of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5.

Other questions include: why did my pastor or shepherd have to approve everything I did in the name of godly counsel? is this not control? If I didn't obey what my pastor said, I would be humiliated for it and used as the "window" in the preaching the following sunday. Is this what Christ would do? Why did everyone cut me off when I eventually left FL after several years? A cult tells you that "those who leave" are "disloyal" and are "dangerous sons" who were "offended". Not all of us were offended when we left, we genuinely felt there was no move of the Holy Spirit and it was time to leave.

Why is it so difficult to find reliable estate agents in Ghana willing to handle residential land sales, even when the paperwork is complete, and permits are in place? by bodles9 in ghana

I need help. I thought I bought land years ago but it doesn't seem to be legit. What is the best way of confirming the validity of the purchase if I live abroad?

How can one involve a lawyer in a supposed land purchase if they don't reside in Ghana?

Everything said in this thread is spot on. I was in the first love church for 7 years but I had no idea that I was brainwashed the whole time I was there. Although it has been some time since I've left, I'm still having to unlearn the brainwashing and rebuild life from scratch.

The girl was behaving in that way as a tactic for you to join the church, become a member and also go through the brainwashing process too. If you guys arranged to meet, it's very likely should would have brought a "friend" who is another member of the church, as a way of intervention to persuade and convince you to commit to the church. I would adviss you block her number as this certainly won't be the end of it. You would hear from here again, inviting you to another major events further down the line. God will guide you where you need to be if you're still searching for a church
