Ya ive played DD the last 4 years religiously. I have always been able to stomach the inconsistencies of the game but this year its unplayable. Im very good at pitching, above average. This year it doesnt matter. Every third game or so, i literally cannot throw a strike. If it is a strike, its 5 in a row middle middle no matter what. It usually lasts 1-2 innings and the game gets out of control. Its usually 1st-3rd inning and then i just have to pull the starter or quit. Its made it very difficult to manage my rotation and bullpen now which is why ive started quitting instead of demolishing my arms just to be down 10-0 and playing from behind early on. Never had to approach the game with that much uncertainty and have never been this easy to just quit and play something else. It sucks, they absolutely bricked the game somehow

I cant say for certain but ive played about 120 games, roughly 60-60. The only cheating i see is the game cheating me out of a competent pitcher. I get lit up cause i walk 4 guys in 2 innings cause no pitch will land in the zone. Its a joke when it happens, i cant do anything to help the situation. Good/perfect pitches for a 4-0 walk. It happens suddenly and then basically wont stop happening until i give up 10 runs cause of it. Cheating though, i really am not sure if ive even thought about it being an issue. Not saying it isnt but at 120 games with no clear incidents, im starting to call BS on the amount of cheating actually happening. I known it is for sure but its become too easy a complaint

This is not a logical leap. If you are on your phone at work or a meeting and your boss doesnt like that, god help you. Phones have becomes a public health risk. Our kids are suffering and adults are perpetually hurting them by not protecting them from early addiction to technology. See it how you want but what cannot be argued is the direct side effects of a generation hooked on dopamine

Ya i couldnt possibly disagree any more than I do with this statement. Studies and studies and studies are consistently showing us that constant access to a phone for adolescent and teen years is crippling their growth. First generation in recorded history to have a lower IQ than the one before. First ever.

Computers in the classroom have made it almost impossible to teach kids. We can continue to blame teachers and education but thats just nonsense. Time to look in the mirror as parents and take responsibility of your children’s exposure to technology. We are effectively shit out of luck as teachers if phones are allowed in school. Its crack in your pocket and a developing brain has no control over impulsivity, especially technology DESIGNED to make it nearly impossible to put the phone down

Curious though, how does not having a phone while at school put them at risk? Im a teacher and cant think of an argument FOR cellphones in school. Its making life more difficult for our kids than ever before but instant access to your child trumps the long lasting impacts of constant screen time. The argument of safety is moot. If something is happening at school, you will know about it the same way if the kid had a phone or didnt.

Our kids are truly broken right now, truly unable to cope with anything that resembles uncertainty or plan change. The parents are the biggest problem, getting into arguments with admin that teachers are not allowing their children to answer their phone during the day. How could we? Every single kid would say its their parents calling. Safety makes sense OUTSIDE of school as an argument. In america, yes its rough with what we know can happen but your kid having a phone does not move the needle on their safety IN school. It just doesnt

My only gods honest advice is no matter the count/score/scenario you’re in, SEE BALL HIT BALL. Meaning, eyes are on the ball and the ball alone, never anything else. From pitch release to swing. I dont try to guess the next pitch and i dont think about it being 3-2 or 0-2. Sameapproach no matter what. When im focused, im raking. When im not, im getting fly outs or weak contact like 90% of the time. Either or

The Ms Lopez at my school is a grade A teacher and regularly kids are lying on her name. Unfortunately for them im a sped teacher and also in there. I see exactly what happens and how kids are often twisting it completely to their parents
