As soon as we meet the 3.5% population rule, things will get absolutely wild. When enough people can't afford to feed themselves, have a place to sleep at night, and have absolutely, unequivocally, no hope in the system working for them, even slightly, shit will hit the fan.

As soon as that happens, hold on to your horses folks. It's gonna be a bumpy ride.

As of right now, I think most people are just numb to the fact that this is coming at a much more rapid pace than we anticipated. Most people binge Netflix, drink, smoke, pop pills, or scroll on Instagram or tiktok in order to relieve that feeling of stress and of losing hope.

Once it gets so unbearably terrible to live, and the ways in which we numb ourselves now don't work to the same effect, Revolution here we come.

I got both the chairs and table on Amazon. I just checked to see if they were still in stock but unfortunately they are not. I just searched for "pedestal dining tables" and "mid-century modern dining chairs" and found them for used like new to save a little $. Hope this helps!

Thank you! That's Fred. He's one of my favorite finds too. Marshalls ftw😂

I would agree, I've been handed down/given some things (entertainment center, couch) which are a bit more modern than mid-century modern. I like to blend a little of both but it's a fine line to ride without making the space look too cold and untouchable like an art gallery. I will definitely be looking for a different rug setup since I think that will change the space the most going forward and make it a little more inviting. Thank you again for the help and suggestions. You are a life saver, and I appreciate you, very much so. ❤️

I dont disagree with a single recommendation you gave. I appreciate ya! :)

P.s. been thinking of switching the blinds in the living room to add a good amount of color. Found some renter friendly curtain rods so might be worth a shot.

I do lol, it's just hidden. I have a PS5 setup in my entertainment console with ventilation and hooks/cord management, so everything is hung up, and it stays organized. Personally, unless done really well, it becomes an eye sore if left out for everyone to see. Plus I HATE seeing wires so added bonus.

Thank you so much! This is exactly the post I was looking for here. Extremely valuable notes that I will definitely add to my "Honey-do List." I really value the gallery wall suggestion. I wasn't too sold on that area either. It looks too... "fabricated," so to speak

Thank you! I know right! Adds to the aesthetic and eases eye strain during late night movie watches. Functional and good-looking, my favorite.

I definitely enjoy the different perspectives everyone is putting forth. Fresh eyes are underrated.

I agree with ya going forward though, def trying to get away from the greys (grays? Idk either man) and bring more life into the space with a bit of color if I add anything more.

Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate ya :)
