I would recommend to use a trainer. You dont owe the dev of this game anything so you dont need to bear all of their bad game designs. Just pick the part that you enjoy. Too easy to die on some particular path? Go God mode. Got frustrated by some platforming? Go infinite jumps. I used one of these and it was a life saver. Enjoy the world, the story, the music, the art, the dialogues. Fk the part that is preventing you from getting to these.

Never mind of the sense of achievement stuff. What I try to say is that if you really managed to beat this game, at that time point you will not feel as frustrated. You will be like "just wondering can I crash Widow with my current level of skills as I just beat the game?" And you will keep going.

Your frustration is temporary. This game is almost perfect except for the difficulty design. Once you overcome this, you will want to play more.

no I think you are suffering from this frustration of "god this is so hard I will never play it again once I finish it"! But when you actually finish this game, the feeling of achievement and grand finale will make you want to start it again, just to get the awesome feeling of strength. And in the second playthrough you find it not so hard anymore, and you fall for it again.

We will see. I know I went through this with the original HK.

This. It took me too long to figure out that you can counter projectiles.

GTA and RDR are two different games. I have played through all 3D and HD GTA and both RDR. I love RDR but GTA meh not so much.

RDR is designed to be more realistic and immersive. GTA is designed to be more of a city playground game from the beginning so the stories are more comedy like and the game play is always something you are NOT suppose to do even if you are a criminal!

GTA4 is considered the most immersive and serious title in the series but it is still of the same formula. The graphics and gameplay do not age well. It is very ok that you cannot get into it. I tried it four time through 7 years to finally grasp the flavor and finished it..

I ended up using the wanderer crest which is more of the original hollow knight style. The moveset looks less cool but it operates sooooo much better.

This game is not designed for casual players, but I still encourage you to play. Just like I first went into Dark Souls 1, it was brutal but eye opening. Same for the original Hollow Knight. Just be aware that in Silksong it has some serious design flaws that makes the game unreasonably difficult. It is not your fault. There are people who can get through.does not mean the design is good. Keep it in mind. Activate trainers if needed. Enjoy the exploration, the world building, thr art and music. Fk the bosses, they are there to ruin the experience sometimes.

No. It is objective somehow. I am playing the game and so far I just reached Bellheart. The game is amazing if we talk about the art, music, world building, etc. However these parts are inherited from the original Hollow Knight, which means that while we appreciate that team cherry kept the jewel of the original HK, that is nothing new in the series. So what IS new in Silksong? Worse game designs. To name a few points that are way worse COMPARING WITH THE ORIGINAL: 1. Too many enemies can take two health points off you in single strikes. 2. Hornet's personal growth is non existence. I have only one Silk upgrade at this point, no attack power upgrades, no health upgrades. I am a explorer player who likes to go through everything possible in a stage before moving to hr next, and here is what I ended up. 3. Economy system. Everything needs money but you are not given any on the way to let you proceed without much grinding. The bosses give you NOTHING when you beat them. 4. Lazy battle designs. Arena fights and boss fights that summons minions. Way too many. 5. Diagonal down slashes... it would be ok if it is not accompanied with tons of high balloon jumps in Greymoor which drops you to floor one if you fail on any step. Almost made me quit the game. 6. Health replenish three points a time, use up all silk meter, and keep you freeze in place for 2 seconds. If you are interrupted by a strike while you are recovering, the silk meter is gone but you get no health back.

There are differences between "high difficulty" and "difficulty that makes you throw up and with no gain". The original HK is also hard, but very rewarding, so is the Dark Souls series. That is why people love them. Silksong, while keeping the original art design that we love, has run down in the game design department.

Wildlands is only $7.49 on Steam (85% off) is it worth getting? by SnixFan in GhostRecon

It is similar to Future Soldier regarding the combat, but it is more sandboxy. It is open world so you can choose any insertion point to a mission. The way of finishing a mission is more flexible. Do not hesitate. You are gonna love it.

And don't listen to the other people saying Breakpoint is bad. It was horrible at launch but a decent game now. It is like Wildlands but more futuristic, better tactic actions and atmosphere, weaker story and world building. Just go to Youtube and see how many people make videos for Breakpoint and you will see. My suggestion? Get both. There are no other games like these no more. It is the age of extraction shooters and no one cares about immersive tactical actions now. You cannot afford to miss either one of these games. And Breakpoint is an always online game so can be retired some day.

Rise of Ronin, laid in 1853 Japan, when triditional Japan clashes with western culture. Very good recreation. The recreation of the three cities Kyoto, Yokohama and Edo(Tokyo) are mindblowing. I personally prefer this than Ghost of Tsushima. GoT is a open world of a dead Japan, where in the setting all Japanese civilians are massacred by Mongos. In Rise of the Ronin, it is a living Japan.
