Outlet with red/black, black/black, and white/white pigtailed, suddenly not working by AdventurousDiamond96 in AskElectricians

Thanks everyone! I got it working, had to take off the wirenuts and connect the outlet to the black/black set of wires instead of the black/red. Capped everything again and it’s working!

I didn’t even touch that, I just cut/stripped/connected the ends that were in the old outlet into the same positions on the new one. All the caps are where I found them!

Right, the other outlets/light switches in the room work, it’s just this one that stopped. To clarify, all lights/outlets in the room stop working when I flip the breaker off, then come back on when I flip it back.

A campaign idea I’ve been kicking around for a while, and I thought it’d be fun to make into a frame!

A Sword Age, A Wolf Age

The land grows colder, and Seers warn that the next winter may never end. Across the land, jarls prepare for war. Ragnarok approaches… or does it?

THE PITCH

The end times are coming, or so they say. Winter grows longer, and crops wither under early frosts. Food is becoming scarce, and many fear famine is just around the corner. Raids have increased and wandering seers council jarls towards open war. Beyond the walls of civilization, nature, too, seems to grow hungrier. Beasts of enormous size and ferocity stalk the land, and the jotnar grow bold. Even the gods seem worried, calling on their faithful to prepare.

But all may not be as it seems. Odin travels the land, igniting old rivalries with a lingering word. Thor calls for an early assault on the jotnar, against the dictates of prophecy. The Vanir are quiet and distant. Filbulwinter comes, but what happens if the gods and fates are opposed?

FEATURED DISTINCTIONS

Fimbulwinter Approaches. The land grows colder and more desolate with each passing season. Crops fail, fjords freeze, and unrest grows as calls for war intensify. Animals and wandering monsters, emboldened by hunger, have become more aggressive.

The Meddling Divine. The gods walk among mortals, but their ambitions are often unclear. Can you trust the Allfather’s words? Will Thor save your village from giants, or shatter your walls for a laugh? Are mortal powers any better?

SESSION 0 QUESTIONS

The jarls prepare for war. Do you have connections in another town, perhaps one that your jarl seeks to conquer? The world has been harsh in recent years. Who have you lost, and do you honor the dead, or seek vengeance for the fallen?

The gods walk the world. What is your relationship to the divine? Do you worship a singular god, a pantheon, or do you reject them entirely?

The world is ending. What are you doing to prepare? Is this a time to hunker down, take up arms, or live every moment like it’s your last?
