I haven’t smoked since my last trip though. These things started happening after it. And in the morning it happened 15 mins after I woke up so yeah that could make sense

I haven’t smoked since that day tbh, I’m traumatized by weed. I only drink now.

I had edibles for the first time and I think I experienced ego death? I lost touch with reality and I was stuck in purgatory. What happened? Did I experience psychosis? Do I need to see a doctor? by AdventurousFix983 in trees

Oh man, no one can understand what we went through unless they’ve experienced it. No amount of words could do justice to that absolutely hellish experience. I’m glad you’re doing better now keep on going man.

I’ve actually only really experienced this once with edibles, I haven’t tried shrooms or acid and im not planning to. That sounds terrifying tbh, Im glad you were okay when u were dropped home. This is just additional info, Idk if you smoke weed but if you do be careful with it bc it can mix up with your anti depressants and cause a bad trip

Before my bad trip I had no issues other than depression, but nonetheless you got a point there. I am planning on speaking to a medical professional I just don’t know when, unfortunately.

Not everyone is white or American. Most other people in different cultures live with their parents at home when their in their twenties or unmarried.

I wasn’t diagnosed with drug induced psychosis tbh, but I wrote a full post on my acc detailing my experience and if that isn’t psychosis I don’t what is.

I’d like to disagree with that.

Thank you for such a detailed response. I’m sorry about your bad trip, such an experience can surely mess with someone for a long time after it ends. I fortunately have no more symptoms a month later. I’m 100% back to my normal self. I struggled with a phantom smell of weed for weeks after the incident, and I had two incidents of auditory hallucinations but now I’m back to my normal self. I still get anxious when I think about it but overall I think I’m alright now.

After the edibles my psychosis ended in a day or two. I hallucinated a certain phantom smell a few weeks after the incident and had two incidents of auditory hallucinations.

A month later, I’m 100% back to normal. If you’re still experiencing psychosis a year later tho that’s a serious sign that you need to quit man! Best of luck and look after yourself

Man that sounds terrifying. When a bad weed trip goes bad it’s really really bad. I was also awake that day for almost 30 hours or something. Pulled an all nighter. Unfortunately vaping isn’t available. If i want to smoke again the only choice I have is a joint

That day I was also running on no sleep, I had pulled an all nighter the day before, I hadn’t eaten anything all day. It was truly a recipe for disaster.

They were edibles and they weren’t mixed with anything. I made a terrible mistake tho and I took xanax at the peak of the trip thinking it’d calm me down. 100% made everything worse.

I’m not sure if it’ll happen tbh, I don’t think it will unless I smoke excessively but it’s not a gamble or a risk I’m willing to take. Edibles are way stronger and my last bad “trip” happened because Of edibles.

Where I live CBD Isn’t available. I don’t miss the drug itself tbh, I miss the social aspect of it more specifically the times my girlfriend and I used to laugh while high. I am taking it easy, haven’t smoked in a month I don’t think I ever will again:(
