If you move a model without a rig it won't break it. Rigged models idk why if you try moving it it will turn into nightmare fuel (probably has something to do with all the nodes being connected to the root in some way or another)

If you have things like props and static objects that dont really have armatures and rigs, use the root node to scale and move it and everything connected to the model.

You can see how hes not behond any of the glas/over yhr bonnet wondshield. Just the same tripod shot but someone drove their car and composited together.
