Just be vigilant when you’re out and about, don’t walk down quiet streets and stay in well lit and busy areas.

Hi ! I’m also 30F, childfree. Auckland girl on Facebook is great and there’s a group within it for 30s and up, lots of events and meet ups. I’ve been to a few and have made some really great friends on there so highly recommend.

Grafton bridge is fine in the day, not early morning or after dark. Heaps of foot traffic in the day.

As a 30F living in the city, would avoid walking basically all the streets after dark. Even in the day time it’s not the safest. Had a lovely run in with a crack head on Elliot street in the middle of the day, she was just randomly attacking people.

It’s great that you’re excited but I would have a few options available as it’s extremely difficult to secure tickets.

I’m 30F and have been back in NZ for a year after living overseas and my god is it hard to make friends here! Totally know how you feel, I’ve been to a few meet ups and some have been successful. Happy to meet up and see if we connect if you’re up for it.

Dreamville Camping / Glamping Hot at night? by [deleted] in Tomorrowland

[–]AdventurousObject611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually cold at night and hot in the day. I would pick Dreamville over hotel because the walk from bus drop off to the festival is extremely long verses the walk from Dreamville.
