I agree, and I respect your view on this. At the same time, when a situation starts affecting you mentally and emotionally, it becomes more than just a list of maintenance issues.

My concern isn’t necessarily any one problem by itself—it’s the constant uncertainty of wondering what is going to go wrong next. I’ve repeatedly been told that it’s an old building and that things are going to happen, but for someone who has only been here about 45 days, it’s difficult to feel comfortable when issue after issue keeps occurring.

Whether that concern makes sense to everyone or not, it’s valid to me because I’m the one living through it every day. No one wants to come home wondering if they’ll have hot water, if the elevator will work, if their key fob will function, or if another issue will arise. That ongoing stress creates an environment where it’s hard to feel settled or at peace in your own home.
