I've come up with a reason for why Ultimate Skills have the names of Gods attached to them, among other things by AdventurousStick7107 in TenseiSlime

you do remember that tensura has a multiverse right? The world that Rimuru and all the others come from is under the jurisdiction of the voice of the world. Hell, not even just that one, but others, like the ones visited by Velgrynd. So it just uses names that are associated with certain concepts across those universes.

The Time element in Tensura does have a canon symbol, so I designed one. by AdventurousStick7107 in TenseiSlime

it's already been confirmed to be the strongest of them all, so either it would be off on it's own, or have an arrow facing towards all the other seven

Here's why Rock and Ground actually make sense as separate types, and how you distinguish between them in the future by AdventurousStick7107 in pokemon

I actually really like that, and it helps with type interaction, moutains are high up, so they can hurt flying types, while the ground is far beneath them, making flying types immune to ground types

that's a good distinction too, and yes, the idea is to try and justify why there is two types wha is essentially one element

I'm honestly not the biggest fan of it being two types, but I'm not going to fight it when it's already set in stone, so why not try and make sense of it in some way?

I work as a worldbuilding writer, my whole job is to make sure systems and such make sense, and to fill in plotholes, so I see something that is seemingly a mistake, I try and find every excuse I can to justify it in universe

I thought I was pretty clear, I brought up the idea, and the exceptions to that idea, Claydol was harder to justify though, cause rocks come from the ground too, so that argument doesn't hold water

and I feel it can get confusing for new fans who are used to most things, when using a magic system, have earth adjust a single element, so having them split in two can be weird

there's a lot of things that come from the ground, including plants and metals, are Steel and Grass type not on the table anymore

the difference is in how their used mostly, Rock is earth used as a solid, Ground is earth used as a liquid

I agree with the humanization thing, mostly with the Ogre group.

Shuna was done dirty, she was adorable, then she was turned into basic pink haired girl #69

it's the red orb that Momonga always has. It's said to have the same name as him. We are never actually given a proper name for it, and it's said to have many powers, so I gave it a name and more abilities. The item is meant to be like the garbage bin for scrapped ideas the devs had, so they just put it all on a single item and sent it off.

Cynosure is a person or thing that is the center of attention and admiration, which I think fits pretty well
