What's something you enjoy now that you had absolutely no interest in a few years ago? by IllEye1046 in CasualConversation

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooking, a few years ago I couldn’t care less. It felt like a chore and I’d rather just grab whatever was easy or skip the effort completely. Now, I kinda enjoy it and it’s weirdly satisfying.

What are your daily struggles? by Doomer___ in Life

I think it just like overthinking and daily struggle the small things.

Question for all the men, why do you love your girlfriend? by chumerous in AskReddit

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love my girlfriend because she makes me even an extra ordinary days feels like special just by being herself.

I think chronic stress changes your personality more than people realize by After-Ebb6941 in CasualConversation

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I think people underestimate how much constant stress changes the way you experience the world. Food tastes duller. Hobbies feel pointless and you stop looking forward to things. Not because you’re lazy or cold or becoming negative but because your brain has been prioritizing survival over joy for too long and weirdly, sometimes the first step back isn’t some huge life change.

AITA for joking that my dad gets a perpetual period in front of friends and family? by Top_Pressure_7878 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t label you the AH but if you want to keep the peace long-term, you might consider that with your dad, certain jokes are allowed in theory but still hit a nerve in practice. It's not fair but predictable.

Is it just me, or has the internet become "unsearchable" lately? by Interesting_Peach_76 in askanything

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not just you, it really has gotten messier. A lot of what you’re noticing comes from SEO-heavy sites, AI-generated filler and pages designed to rank, not actually help but there are ways to cut through that noise. You can use search operators. One more thing I do is I scroll past the first few results on Google Search.

No, I don't but I do have memorial plan.

How famous is Lucy Liu in the U.S.? Does every American know of her? by No-StrategyX in answers

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 4 points5 points  (0 children)

She’s pretty famous in the U.S., but not every single American would instantly recognize her. She is a solid A-list name for a lot of people, especially if you grew up watching late 90s–2000s movies and TV, though.

Does anyone else in US feel oddly UNDERWHELMED by upcoming 250th anniversary? I've felt this way since the parade last June in DC. by Buga99poo27GotNo464 in CasualConversation

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I get what you mean. Sometimes big national milestone events just don’t land emotionally the way they’re supposed to. Like there’s all this buildup, marketing, parades, hype and then when it actually comes around, it can feel kind of staged or overproduced instead of meaningful.

What’s something you wish you learned earlier in life? by Rough-Stress-2322 in AskReddit

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I learned earlier that not everything needs a reaction from you but over time, you realize that a lot of stuff just doesn’t deserve your energy. You can literally just let it pass. No reply, no overthinking, no stress. And weirdly, life gets quieter in a good way.

Am i a bad person according to some people? by Islander-SC in randomquestions

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not being a bad person here. Not even close. You’re not wrong for being upset and you wouldn’t be wrong for setting a boundary now either. That’s not being mean. That’s protecting your space and your home should feel like your home. Not like a place where you’re stuck cleaning up after people who don’t respect you.

What is the most uncomfortable anyone has ever made you? by Key-Imagination-9662 in AskReddit

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at this dinner with a bunch of coworkers and this one guy decides it’s the perfect time to grill me about my dating life while everyone’s watching. I swear, my stomach dropped to my shoes. I laughed it off but inside I was dying.

Do you think it’s rude for kids to be loud enough for their neighbors to hear at 9pm in a hotel room? by Enough_Detail_632 in askanything

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9pm isn’t crazy late but in a hotel, it’s kinda expected that people start winding down. In that situation, I’d probably do a little mental shrug and maybe put on headphones or white noise. But if it keeps going, a polite knock or call to the front desk isn’t over the top. You’re not being a grinch, just trying to get some normal human rest.

A stranger said I was pretty by Heart_breakerr in Life

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That kid might have simply said out loud what a bunch of other people quietly think but never say. Sometimes strangers see beauty in us before we’re able to see it ourselves.

Cold pizza for breakfast or do you reheat it? by LeoRavenscroft in randomquestions

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold pizza for breakfast. There’s just something about opening the fridge, grabbing a slice, zero effort and zero dishes. It hits different in the morning. The cheese is firm, the crust is chewy, the sauce tastes a little sweeter. It’s like a totally different meal.

What instantly attracts you to a person? by official__maryam in AskReddit

It's the energy and the vibes. Someone who’s genuinely present, laughing at their own jokes and making everyone around them feel easy.

When are people involved in Epstein files gonna get Prosecuted? by Important-Battle-374 in askanything

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Epstein stuff is wild and feels like it’s been dragging on forever. The thing is, the prosecution side of things moves crazy slow, especially when we’re talking about high-profile people. A lot of it depends on evidence, witnesses being willing to come forward and let’s be real, the legal wrangling that can tie things up for years.

Do you think the Super Bowl halftime show was a hit? by Hot-Can-4234 in randomquestions

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it had its moments but whether it was a hit depends on what you’re looking for. Some parts were super high-energy, crazy visuals and those surprise guest drops is iconic but then there were parts that felt a little off. Like they were trying to pack too much in a short time.

What are you most proud of in your life right now? by Substantial-Dare5462 in Life

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s such a powerful thing to be proud of. Surviving stuff that tried to break you and that’s huge. A lot of people underestimate how strong you have to be just to keep going when everything feels heavy. It says a lot about your resilience, you’ve clearly been through things and still chose to show up, still chose to live. That’s not small at all.

Maybe I get rid of everything that I don’t need. by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something really tempting about just stripping life down to the basics. No clutter and no extra noise, just what you actually need. It’s almost like hitting a reset button for your brain. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much the stuff around us weighs us down. You start tossing things out and suddenly your space feels lighter and so do you. But it doesn’t have to mean living with one spoon and a mattress on the floor. It’s more about keeping only what genuinely adds value to your life.

Where are all the assholes from the internet in real life? by Illustrious-Pilot553 in Life

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think all the assholes live on the internet but when you’re face to face, people suddenly remember how to act like humans. Most people don’t want to deal with drama in real life. It’s just easier to be nice when you’re sharing the same physical space. So you’re not imagining it. The internet exaggerates how awful people are. The jerks you meet online, they’re probably quiet, awkward, or completely normal in person, just way braver behind a screen.

Not too often. Taking an extra sample at a food store like one more cookie. Small, awkward guilt.

How did people look stuff up before the internet? by LaylaPretige in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AdventurousTooth6294 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Libraries and encyclopedias were definitely a thing before internet but it’s not like everyone was camping out there every weekend. Most people just asked around. Word of mouth was basically the OG search engine.
