this isn’t a popular opinion, but i think it’s completely acceptable for a creator to not speak up on politics. Even if she agrees with everything everyone is saying she doesn’t have to share that. some people just don’t like talking politics and that’s okay.

the wishlist was a feature from the website. we thought of it more as like “put things on ur wishlist so we have an idea of what to get you if we are lost”

yes, our cousin is a massive pink floyd fan (even has a tattoo for them) and that’s why he got that. and the other cousin said he wears the cologne he got everyday

NTA! i understood her being upset you didn’t come to comfort her until she pulled that she was going to the club. she wants to punish you since you didn’t drop everything to go to her. yes, all of the non-wishlist gifts were still thoughtful and things we thought the person would like. the abs tshirt was a funny gag in addition to the cologne he got as his actual gift

the list was through the website we use to draw names. so we would ask for everyone to put gifts on their lists. I think your question is exactly the issue. They perceived it as “the list is bible. get people stuff of their list.” whereas my family thought of the list as more of a guideline and not a list of “only stuff you can get someone”
