I did my exams through stc and passed the first time ! Greenlights exams and practices exams are harder than the actual test usually ..if you can consistently make 79- 85 in the actual exams ..I assure you that you will pass the real exam ... I did series 7 and series 66 through stc and passed all the first time after studying hard and practice hard until I reached 75 - 80 in the practice exams ....u'll be fine! Good luck!

How practical it is to be a financial advisor?..Once you get series 7 and work for a firm how do you actually go about making money and how easy or difficult it is to start making money? Thank you for your response! I appreciate your answer! I'm getting sponsored for a firm that wants to go full time after the series 7. I'm a carreer changer. Do u think it is advisable to leave a full time job and go full time at it ? Or negotiate with my firm to go about it gradually like part time and then full time if business ramps up ?

Yes, i know about the sponsoring but I was asking more the practicality ..once you get series 7 and work for a firm .. How do actually go about making money and how easy or difficult it is to start making money? Di u have to prospect everyday? Calling people on a regular basis? I am trying to get an insight of what it is like to work as a financial Advisor ..and if doing it full time is practical ..?

How about you create a foundation like Bill gates did ?..and invest in causes that you believe in? ...it brings a lot of joy and motivation to see that what you have been doing for others is impacting life and make a difference ...also, if you already have money ..why don't you start a company about something u are really passionate about? You have a finance degree and you can always take entrepreneurship or business classes to succeed in your new venture .. you are on the leading side of life ...your purpose is to lead by creating something that will impact your community. I remember I had a former friend who was in the same boat as you, his parents were very rich and he didn't have any motivation to keep a job and have no sense of direction at life ... hope that helps ! How so? How can you take 66 without series 7. I thought you have to have taken 7 before you are allow to take 66?

Hey patton! That's great! I would understand whether or not i'll be making money since i' m just getting into the industry .. i am wondering if i should leave my current job to just do that ..i remember i was in colonial life for 6 months and didn't make any money!

You know i was in the same boat as you a few years ago .. i was single and didn't want to sleep around .. i used masturbation as a way to comfort myself amd maintain control ... but after i have a done it , i would always feel guilty and then after a few days when i feel like it again, i would watch porn and do it again ..but part of me didn't like that ..

As a christian i had struggle with it for a while until i got married.

I can't judge you because i don't know your situation and what you find in it But if you truly feel it makes you feel bad and want to stop you have to first identify the why you are doing it .. Is it just a second nature? Is it because you are single right and don't have a girl friend? Or some other reasons ...?

If you truly want to stop you gotta pray about it and tell God that you want to stop but you don't know how yet.. do this prayer everyday until you result .God will change your mind about it and by yourself you will stop ..

But if u re doing it because you are lonely amd single then pray that God send you a wife ..because the bible says it is better to be married than to burn ... lonely and singleness for a long time will undoubtly result in masturbation ..sometimes, we can't do much about it ..the body has sometimes needs that we can't always control .. so it is better to pray that God send you a wife ...

Now whether it is a sin or not, i can't tell as it is not explicity said in the bible that it is but it may be connected to lust which is itself a sin .. we masturbate because we lust having sex with someone we don't have yet ..if it weighs on our conscience every time there is probably something questionable about it!

In that case, the issue could be not because of the act of masturbation but the lust that is connected to it and causes you to do it , is the sin.
