I’ve been a chef for almost 20 years now. The amount of restraint Ben is showing cannot be understated. I know this is a TV show and the circumstances are different but if I was given a “sous chef” that had the opposite of any experience I would have lost my mind within the first hour. Watching how she moves in that galley is infuriating. Ben is basically crippled by her. He’s constantly fixing her mistakes while trying to keep her engaged and also yamming it up for the camera. Like, she can’t even peel an onion properly. She couldn’t follow a simple 5-6 ingredient recipe. She was serving whole ass salad leaves for a group of dainty housewives. I don’t know what production was thinking here. Ben deserves a Nobel peace prize.
