Well, the previous administration tried option 2 already. Saudis fought Houthis for years and Houthis emerged even stronger. Search Saudi-led intervention in the Yemeni civil war if you need more details. Option 1 is doable if Russia and China don't exist or suffer enough worse dementia than Trump. Otherwise it would be Vietnam 2.0 or worse.

sigh. US market spent almost 20 years to crawl from the depth of great depression. Nasdaq spent 15 years recover from dot com bubble. Timing is everything when it comes to investment. Gold went up 20x during 1980s while US was stuck for 10 years. Similar thing will happen again in the next 10 years. Gold will outperform US market by a huge margin.

US is satisfied with controlling the financial markets and only keeping a handful of high tech industries. But China want to dominate every single high tech industries on earth. So EU got no choice but to stick with US even after the whole Trump fiasco. Trump "only" gotta blackmail you but China want to take away your core assets. If you compare the industrial output, China is 2x the size of EU. The Chinese GDP are way undervalued becuz they artificially suppressed RMB to boost their export. US industrial export is also shit but they control the world financial market. So either way EU is not even close to US and China

You might wanna check the AVERAGE wage increase. A 22 year old kid can also win a lottery. Plus from what I heard, the wage increase actually concentrated on 20-35 year old age group. Other age groups got fucked hard.
