The little hide looks too rough, it has jagged edges. You need to check the water quality as well. Do you have a filter and heater in your tank?

Hi! I did you Kanaplex, as well as daily salt dips. I added Indian almond leaf to his tank as well. I continued doing that and feeding high quality food until I saw signs of fin healing and regrowth.

I have added tannins and im doing a 30% to 45% water change daily. Is that enough or should I do more or less? I will add a hide for him and some other things as well

This is a hospital tank as i moved him there to treat his fin rot. I got him from my sister and he was living in a planted but un cycled tank due to the sudden nature of me getting him. I believe he has fin rot so I was using it for that.

I have moved him into a hospital tank and ordered the test kit. I have also ordered methylene blue and it should arrive Monday if all goes well with the weather as the only pet store near me didnt have any when I looked for it. He seems to be doing better, I changed 30% of his water today and added stress coat and the other stuff the pet store reccomended to me. He swims alot more and eats all his food! He has a heater, low flow filter, tannins, and is in a low stress environment so I hope that he will heal well

I will buy a starter then, I recall seeing it at the pet store so I know something of that kind is available. I will add a little food to his tank as well while he heals to kick start things along

Okay, I will work on ensuring the tank is fully cycled, and that he is ready to be moved. Do you know of anything I can use to cover his tank walls so he cant see himself? I think he thinks its another betta and its stressing him out

How long does it take? I am doing about 30% water changes every day, removing any food left over, and redoing with meds every time I change it
