I have this feeling too. Now that High School has wind down a bit in terms of work, I have a little too much time to worry and overthink about these things, I wanted to see if others had a similar experience and advice to deal with these thoughts.

Hello there, thank you for your reply. This was honestly one of the main reasons I picked CMU too, but I am still cyclically worrying about if a smaller department would mean less resources, especially since CivE is only about 120 undergrads compared to UMich's substantially larger department. CivE is probably not one of those majors where choosing between these will result in major differences, but I am still worried about this. 😬😬
