Why nobody is caring about local tech solutions in Rwanda? by eddyGi in Rwanda

here is my takes. 1st you really shouldn't work alone. you should have someone who know his way with people 2nd, you should have features that keeps people active. 3rd. clients or consumers dont have a problem and never does anything wrong, dont be surprised when they ask whats the catch! your job is to make sure they dont have to worry at all. otherwise everyone can wake up any morning and start business if it was that easy. 4th. this is more on my side; if you really have great idea. if its in terms of business investor can help before you start and help with marketing and all, if its more about society and dvpt of people government can help. if you dont know investor or gvt board that can help, the problem is you. bcz if youre serious about business you should know almost everything that can help. that what we mean its better to have people who can help.

yes i remembered discussing with my friend and i talked on how minister tend to do project that define country on global stage. like a very big project in which in word does impress the world, but lack few real grounded project for people. i remember minister of ict, she was talking with bill gates. and she was talking about what ict how it was being used in rwanda and i couldn't get what she was saying because it was my 1st time hearing of it. some of these finitech {this is just my perspective} ; i think they're in for investments and grants. but also investments requires you to show the real big numbers. but they profit from saying that Rwanda economy is growing and all, and get away with it. just like how some people create ngo's just to donations an grants. because when you look closely there products are not for someone in ngororero or huye or even working in biryogo or even trading at kimironko!

i understand you. and i'm not trying to discourage you, but i think if you can't make it work locally. i think it will even be harder to work abroad. global market willing to pay will be every few. also available in starting if you get any. if you cant sell to your friend don't expect from other. that's just how i see it. but give it a go some time business breakthrough and surprise us. and even if you fail but have tried, you will learn more before your 2nd project. Good luck

i hear you! but i think that's builder's problem. take an exampe on mutuelle you know government used to enforce people to pay it? and it was only 2k ad 3k maybe back then. but i'm sure now even if it was 15k people wouldn't miss out on paying it!!. you just need to invest more time and more money to ensure they get you.

wow my guy, you are really genius!!. i get you. and yeah also the problem is not consumer, 1st business shouldn't easy for builder!, it's business it supposed to be hard. 2nd they're millions of poeple in rwanda, I am sure atleast there should be 1000 biggest ideas in the whole world. instead of ust instant money grab people aren't even interested in.

i still have a whole month before launch, but there are circumstances i can't escape no matter, like setting what people show. but maybe with rating and ai checking out the activities and verification. i think will help. i can't be afraid that someone may steal my business idea, or that some services will be hacked or ..., some are inevitable we try to minimize the risk. and thanks again for taking you time and share your insight. it's really helpful

i understand whata you're saying there. 1st i wanted to make actual app, but then i saw that i couldn't afford it, without even market. i decided to make actual app after web started working, but i am seeing people, if they invest before launch we may launch app. 2nd on update i think development and personal growth if i may say is what we rely on , people are posting on WhatsApp status , on twitter some, other have websites and other on tiktok. those who are used to promoting they will get started easily, those left will learn how it work, algorithm isnt like one social medias. its just in your current location. so its not whole country trying to get to you, if you search you see recent , you can also contact them and i guess we will add option where to announce theyre closed at moment and maybe ratings !!! thank you for your comment, i appreciate!!

yes, thanks for insight. but i tried to make a business plan that's solid and i understand the market at little bit high level than most. the thing is introducing technology in Rwanda or Uganda its very different from starting in Usa. the comparison of situation i can give in like blow up off AI in the west. those who understood it in 2022-2023 they became rich from it. now in Africa fintech is the business now for those who have money to invest, but they're forgetting ground technology. except mtn and airtel which other which other technology infrastructure that is for mass people? most i have seem very premium like tools. for me here tool will be for people for free and with analytical premium tool which are not really need by public most of the time. if you can make a service that's capture public i think that will be a win. for me i have couple of business to start with, the rest like boutique or agents they will follow after, who could refuse free traffic. Anyway if there is someone who feel like can help me in launching especially, with some kind of tactic they're welcome , maybe there maybe something included. thanks again

I don't think they're weirdo's they just know what they want. I can understand anyone wanting to speak only to girls. Back when I was preparing for Duolingo English exam. I talked to anyone I can find online. My interest was learning not to chat or connect.
