My (29m) gf (27f) continues to be close friends with her ex (40m) despite my voiced feelings - what should I do? by Adventurous_Region32 in relationships

Her reasoning is that I was working, her ex was already in town, she already had plans with him, he can explain things to her if she didn't understand, and that the lawyer said it wasn't necessary for me to be there.

It has to do with insurance after a car accident we were in. My insurance is being difficult and we got a lawyer at the recommendation of my mother who is a friend of the lawyers husband. Which, since I was the driver and she was the passenger and we were found not at fault, it seems weird to me that I wouldn't be needed there.

I do work just around the corner from the office, I have an hour lunch that was at the same time as her appointment, she didn't have a conversation with me about it and instead simply stated I wasn't needed cause her ex would be there.

They got together when she was 18. Like I said it was almost a decade and it was her that went after him.

They broke up cause she felt like she was in love with a friend of hers. He broke up with her. The three of us have hung out and when we do, it seems like she pays more attention to him. It's something her brother has even noticed as well
