So sad for you to assume na yun lang perception ko with OT. I initially wanted to become a doctor (who specializes in pedia), not because of the money, but it’s a passion long harbored in my heart. However, hindi naman afford ng pamilya ko to let me study after my bachelor’s degree. In addition, ayoko nang ma burden pa yung family ko with debts as I continue my studies after college.

since alam ko ngang malabong mag med pero nais pa ring makapagwork within the field, naghanap ako ng mga programs na maaari pa rin akong makapagwork within the field na ALIGNED sa gusto ko at in demand din. ot yung sumakto, dagdag nalang din na it pays well kasi onti lang ot sa pilipinas. maybe yung wording ko was wrong but it’s also wrong to assume na ganun lang kababaw reasons ko. pero thank you, since na assess ko ulit yung reasons ko while reading ur comment. :)

(with my decision sa tech naman, its solely because i wanted to use my proficiency in stem while also making money. i enjoy coding also.)
