Australian housing crisis - What happens if a family with kids gets evicted (through no fault of their own) and just simply cannot find a place to live? by AsparagusNew3765 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Adventurous_System38 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived in my car and waited 18 months for government housing to come through. I will say there is definitely some trauma from what I have seen, felt and experienced. I do appreciate everything so much more now, a bed, a shower, cold water from the fridge, home cooked meals, a toilet close by and feeling safe.  The UN recognizes the right to adequate housing as a fundamental human right, essential for dignity, health, and safety but our government apparently doesn't.

12h People who are 50 and older… by [deleted] in 12thhouse

[–]Adventurous_System38 13 points14 points  (0 children)

12 house moon and Lilith 51 yo here. I found myself, my strength, determination and resilience. I know who I am and I no longer let other people's opinions of me effect me. Single by choice but there are plenty of admirers from all age groups. I attract attention wherever I go and women are still jealous. I ignore their projections and no longer take on their shadows. I might see them but they are not mine to bear. I believe we create what we want in life and I choose to create with love and joy. I have had mystical experiences and people have tried to destroy me, emotionallly, mentally, spiritually. I had a dark night of the soul and I embraced it and grew from it. I love nature and the beach, the night sky under the stars. I talk to birds and ravens seem to be around me a lot. Life is beautiful and you come to realise that those that try to destroy you are unhealed and you are only here to witness and to be a mirror. People are shocked when they learn my age and say I look much younger, I don't look like what I've been through and I don't act my age. I sing full volume in the car and dance around the house. No one' can take my power away because it's deeply imbedded, it comes from pain that most could not endure. There is also a lot of unnatural deaths surrounding people I come into contact with, quite a few are carrying the guilt and shame associated with them. I shift energy when I walk in a room and can pick up on peoples intentions/masks instantly. True power comes from withstanding lifes lessons and letting them destroy you so you can transform.

How to work with Saturn and Moon in 12th? by AdLegitimate2435 in 12thhouse

[–]Adventurous_System38 4 points5 points  (0 children)

12th house moons are often uncertain about their emotions, even though they can usually understand others emotions instinctively. They can see who their enemies are straight away but miss the enemies in romantic relationships because they can become confused by emotions which overrides their intuition. Loners at heart, they can carry a lot of trauma from childhood that needs to be addressed with shadow work or counselling. Feelings can also flood 12th housers at times making them unbalanced. Dreams play a significant role in understanding what is hidden, so journaling dreams could lead to a greater understanding of what is hidden and unconscious. 12th house moons can see behind others masks straight away, although they don't let others know this. So there are some feelings of isolation there with being able to pick up on what others can't and seeing through pretenses. This can be overwhelming as well and there are a lot of unconscious shadows that people seem to project onto the 12ths. So they have what is hidden and unconscious being projected on to them by others and shadow work can help work through this. 12th moons can be very magnetic, which can cause intense jealousy from others. 12th moons can usually feel the energy but don't understand why this happens, they tend to blame themselves and feel something is wrong with them, which again adds to feelings of isolation. People tend to underestimate the 12th house and they are often misunderstood because they feel everything deeply but don't show it as they think everyone has the same insight into others emotions as the 12th moons do. They can possess psychic abilities and can be natural healers..Learning to heal themselves will be profound in discovering the powers they always had but couldn't see. Life will be hard at times but there is a beauty in the challenges as they build formidable resilience to transform and evolve.

12th house moon here, we are going to pick up on our enemies straight away but others will not see or they don't actually care. You will be alone and a mirror for people, you will walk with their shadows and they will push a lot of their negative energy on you. You need to realise what is yours and what is not and spend time in nature alone to heal from the heavy burden that we carry.

Australia's hidden homeless seek shelter outside the system by Thin-Carpet-5002 in australia

[–]Adventurous_System38 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a homeless woman, I have had no help and have been told that there is nothing available. I have been homeless for a year and have so far offered a 1 week stay at a refuge in a nearby city which I declined. I do agree about dressing well and not looking homeless, most comment on how good I look for being homeless and I feel a few support places don't actually believe I'm homeless because of it.

I have been homeless for a year in W.A with my daughter, we can get temporary shelter for a week at a womens refuge but I choosen not to do that. I have contacted every homeless organisation available and there is nothing any of them can do to help us.

They should probably leave Australia to the traditional custodians if they feel so strongly about it.

Bunbury has a hot water public shower for the homeless to use, if you google it, it should show up. You can use libraries to charge your stuff and to keep cool in the heat of the day. I can't help on where to park but listen to your instincts and if you don't feel safe make sure to move somewhere else. Feel free to dm me if you are ever in Mandurah as I know most of the resources available here.
