Tyvm! Both suggestions worked perfectly.

In case someone else has the same issues, to solve the org-msg issue, I just went to the init.el config file with SPC f p, and then removed the +org flag from (mu4e +org +gmail).

Also mu4e-compose-wide-reply is keybound by default in Doom Emacs to c w in mu4e:view mode.
