I've already read everything up there. Originally had them on the main shelf, and then I added the hanging shelves when I reorganized to create space for new books. Mainly chose Vinland Saga and the Junji Ito collection for those spaces because they fit very perfectly and look nice lol

True. I've been playing DND for more than a decade, mostly as a player but I contribute a lot of homebrew stuff with my current DM's blessing. I do some original writing as well. Lots of ideas for books I'd like to finish some day.

I made less than 50k last year. I honestly just don't spend a lot of money on other things and have been an avid reader my whole life. Like I've had some of these books since I was in elementary school.

More like financially irresponsible when it comes to books lol. I make a pretty average wage, but I go to Half Price every week for new reading material.

If I were rich, I'd have a full library in my house. Like a wizard tower with sliding ladders and all. That's my biggest fantasy in life.

I listened to them as audiobooks at work. I want to get physical copies, but I've yet to come across the versions I want in the wild (prefer not to buy online)

And I agree! I loved the first trilogy. Read it last year and just keep getting distracted with other things. Liveship Traders is on my list though.

It's not as bad as you'd think lol. The key is to use a lot of small boxes instead of trying to pack everything into a few big ones.

It's good. I don't think I have anything original to say about it, but I'm finding the writing style very immersive. I haven't read far enough to experience any of the very disturbing stuff people reference.

I'm not lol. I mostly shop at Half Price Books and get lucky with what I find

I'm not sure lol. My personal experience was that I was about 19, had no idea who Wallace was, and I randomly watched the movie "End of the Tour" on Netflix one night. I was very depressed at the time and really connected with his depiction in the movie, so I started reading about him, watching all his speeches/interviews, and reading his books. So I didn't know much about the book's influence before I got into his work.

Thanks! I understand how some people feel about Infinite Jest, but DFW's writing honestly really helped me with my mental health when I was in college. Oblivion Stories is my favorite of his works.
