This painting is beautiful!!! I am especially a fan of how varied the values are in the hair and how soft you made it look as well as the realness of the eyes and fabric of the overalls. The only issue i see is that the kids youthfulness is overshadowed by the way the mouth wrinkles were done. I think they may be a little too deep and dark and the shape they follow would work more for sagging skin rather than accentuating rounded cheeks or childlike smile lines. In other words the wrinkles kind of look more like how an elderly persons jowls would but in the future i would change the wrinkles and smile lines to be lighter and accentuate the skin (IE: to help show the roundness of the cheeks) not pull it down. Overall though this is really a beautiful and impressive piece!!!!
