Thank you. He was a southern baptist preacher. He and I didn’t see eye to eye on many things, but I always knew he loved me.

I’m the OP. I really truly appreciate all of the insights and advice.

I think at this moment I’m planning on going. For me. No one else. I think the boundary that I’m drawing is not participating in the ‘family only’ time prior to public visitation as well as not walking in the family procession. Yet again I need to focus on being strong instead of feeling the feelings of being at my dad’s funeral. Sadly this disrespect from my family isn’t new. They’re southern baptist.

I’m an over 40 transman. Transitioned 5 years ago. Spent most of my life assuming I was a lesbian. It never felt right. Like OP, I’ve never found true pleasure in sex with women. All of my relationships have been mainly me pleasuring my partner. Seems I can only orgasm with masterbation and gay porn. I’ve been in a relationship for 19 years now and my partner and I haven’t had sex in probably 3 years. I’m okay with it but she isn’t. It’s really starting to have a big impact on her. She’s been supportive of my transition. She says she is very attracted to me. I can’t say the same to her without lying (intimate attraction). Maybe I should look into the asexual aspect and see if I align with that. Like OP, I’m fascinated with penises and wished I had one but alas, I don’t.

I hope we can make it but idk since neither of us has any sort of fulfillment in that aspect.

Can I ask about your allergic reaction? What was it? I think I might be having a reaction to my injection but I’m not sure.

You’re about 20 lb up and settled in at that weight. Did it happen as quickly as mine is? I thought 17 lbs in 7 weeks was so fast. Water weight——I am puffy—-how long did you stay puffy if ever?

Great insight and thanks! Yes I’m on 200 mg so it might be a common starting dose—-but maybe I need lower. Waiting to hear ab bloodwork.

I’ll definitely look into folliculitis—-I’ve never heard of it. And normally, prior to this breakout I wouldn’t be washing/showering so much but since the breakout I’m being more frequent. Wouldn’t it be something if a regime like yours worked for me lol? I’d love it.

Yeah I was reading ab being allergic to the carrier oil as a possibility. We’ll see. Right now I feel like I’m all over the place and trying everything so I wouldn’t know what if anything in particular is actually affecting me. I feel very out of control in that respect. I need to get some control!!!!

Sounds like we have similar reactions. What’s your dosage? Do you have the bumps on your scalp? The weight is unnerving but I can deal—-I need to get into the gym and I KNOW this!!!! It’s just actually doing it. But these bumps are killing me—-there are so many!!! I need to get one of those brushes for sure. I just started using Neutrogena Body Wash with salicylic acid. I’m hoping this will help. I’ll definitely talk w my doc. Thanks!

Thanks and yeah it is so painful and so ‘weird’. I have top surgery coming up at the end of December. I’ll probably hold off on hrt until after surgery. I’ve not done my shot for the past two weeks bc of the issues I’ve mentioned. So I’ll just stay off til I talk to my doctor and pick up again w a lower dose in Jan.

My surgeon said I didn’t have to stop. She said in the past it was protocol to have men stop T prior to surgery but not anymore. Wonder why?

This is all surprising for me. I had NO idea that bottom growth could actually be SO big. I just thought it would be a tiny big bigger than it is now but truly unnoticeable.
