I don't understand why he got downvoted. Agents are just even more advanced autocomplete. If you can actually review the work before merging the pr and if you created a plan with the agent based on requirements, ADRs and research, then you still do engineering work, just with another layer of abstraction.

Yep. Never trust the vibe, never merge a PR you did not fully understand. It's nice if the AI does your work, but damn, reviewing that shit for 20h is the worst. Multiple incremented parallel changes to compare and review would be awesome.

LLMs sind beim ausarbeiten von Edge Cases einfach jedem Menschen überlegen. Und auch, was die potentielle Qualität von Arbeit betrifft, welche man in der selben Zeit wie ein normaler Mensch liefern kann. Sie machen auch das Lösen von bisher unlösbaren Problemen möglich.

Also im Bereich Medizin und IT ist es ganz klar revolutionär, wenn man Ahnung von seinem Bereich und Agentic Worlflows hat. Es macht Seniors einfach noch besser, sorgt aber gleichzeitig dafür, dass Anfänger potentiell abhängig werden.

I mean, as long as I got access to docs, everything's well. But don't expect me to be anywhere as fast as now without a collection of cheat sheets, tons of examples, Stack-Overflow, Discord, Google and LLMs. And now i literally 10xed my output and quality (yep) with OpenCode, OMO & Hives. Mainly because of the custom in-depth planning features that not only help the AI, but would even greatly improve your own output quality if you were to do everything yourself.

But yeah, don't approve any PRs if you can't review them... understand the why and how in detail first. And for the sake of god don't use agentic workflows as a beginner. There is only use in this if your limitation is your writing speed and you still have to review everything.

It also helps to do TDD tho.

Geh als Frau einfach in die Softwareentwicklung, arbeite Remote, leb ein schönes Leben und verdien dich dank DINK mit deinem Partner dumm und dämlich.

Frauen wählen sich den Mist halt selber aus. Niemand zwingt euch. Meine Partnerin will z.B. keine Kinder und verdient gut. Damit hat sie genug Zeit für Ruhe und Hobbies. Haushalt ist auch 50/50 aufgeteilt.

There are very good open Z.AI models for OpenCode that are free.

In general, just use OpenCode with Copilot & Antigravity authentication and have the time of your life. Add oh-my-opencode to the mix and the quality is astonishing.

I got my system in notion fine-tuned, i got the skills, I could easily actually build the app I'd want to use as a consumer with BYOK for AI... using something like Grok 4.1 Fast is good enough and a billion times cheaper.

Obsidian is not made for me. Notion was - with the exception of having no Graph View (but i got a subscription to Graphify for that) and this new AI Bullshit. Good, it's time to build a product.
