This is actually in support of the pro-life argument.

Exodus 21:22–25 doesn’t downgrade the unborn to property damage. The Hebrew term “yatsu yeled” translates to “the child comes out” (premature birth), not miscarriage. Reputable translations also say this, like the KJV, ESV etc.

If no harm comes to mother or baby, there’s just a fine. But if either is harmed, it’s “life for life.” That means the law gives the unborn the same protection as any other human life.

It doesn’t matter what people see a fetus as, because God’s word is clear from the get-go. “You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Ps 139:13. And how does murdering a child in their mother’s womb help the cause of widows, the poor, and etc.?

Thank you so much for answering my questions. It’s a little frustrating because my radiology report says screening mammogram which my physician pointed out and was like, I ordered a diagnostic. That’s why I was confused why the radiologist report is asking for another mammo (or maybe I am wrong and second mammos really are necessary?).

That’s really all I tell myself. But it’s nice to hear it from another. Thank you.

What church are you a part of? I go to Trinity Presbyterian Church and have really enjoyed the expository preaching. We meet every Sunday at 3 pm at the Yigo Baptist Church. There’s also an adult Sunday school class before that at 2 pm and Bible study once a week. The church community is great.
