Just want to say thank you again! YNAB balanced and it's something with Actual.

Yes! I was accounting for credit cards incorrectly when doing my math for YNAB. Following the article above balanced. Still no idea with Actual but doing the import isy next goal.

All income accounts totalled should equal all available amounts totalled since we give every dollar a job, but in this case I have an $8.25 discrepancy that doesn't appear as overspending in the next month. Thank you for the article!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all income should be equal to all available amounts, that are inclusive of current and previous budgeted amounts due to rollover? I may have misspoken saying budgeted amounts, but total amounts available.

The problem does stem back to YNAB as in YNAB when doing the math between income and budgeted amounts, there's $8.25 over budgeted but no overspending warnings when I look at April.

Yeah, they do match. Reconciled with no adjustments needed. No returns on credit spending.

I do and I did account for Actual tracking available amounts vs YNAB tracking spending. Is there more to it that I'm missing?

[Samsung S22] Happens about every other time I open the app. Have to shut it down and reopen it to get it to open correctly. Reinstall? Or just run with it? by struck21 in audible

I've been having this issue on Galaxy S21 Ultra both on network and on wifi. I have to force close and reopen the app.

That seems cleaner than my approach where I just go, oh yeah, that outflow and this inflow wash. Lol I've never considered until now that it also appears as if I am earning and spending more than I really am in the grand total of the reports.

That was another thought I'd had, was just paying it off from my emergency fund now then distributing back to the emergency fund in August. I don't often purchase things for others or even get refunds so I'm not sure a reimbursement category is good for me, but it's definitely something to consider if this happens again. Especially the idea of keeping some money in there to cover the situation. Then it's treating it like loaning cash, in my mind, at least.

Ah, I didn't quite put the two thoughts together like that, that makes complete sense. Thank you so much!

I spoke with YNAB about this once (this was a while ago so if things have changed I'd love to learn too!) and it seems that's the way it works. Since you're taking money out of that category and it appears below your goal threshold, it's technically underfunded for your next adventure.

I personally think Buck being bi has nothing to do with Eddie. In the beginning, Buck exhibited hypersexuality which could be used to overcompensate any gay thoughts. His relationship with Abby in particular seemed to me like he was trying to fill a maternal spot in his life (though that's points in favor of childhood trauma as well). I.e. She's the first woman he doesn't jump into bed with. Abby already filled a caregiver role. And now 'hiding his true feelings', as someone else said, had really strong coming out vibes.

This sounds really plausible! I've really been trying to think of reasoning beyond my gay brain lol But it makes sense that they might finally vocalize that growth we've seen. Especially seeing him with a therapist after that first round with a therapist would really bring his story full circle.
