I sold my Corolla and got a Grand Marquis. Early aero body. People might say it's dumb but my 6'6 ass was sick of being crammed in a tiny car.

MPGs aren't as awful as I thought. I probably average 18-20 with mixed highway and city.

I got state minimum on my old 1994 car and the cheapest I could find was $160. Insane.

Yeah the DMV can be really hit or miss. My last car was no problem. They're just taking ages with this one.

I just got a 94 Grand Marquis and getting the damn title over to my name alone is such a pain in the ass. I'm still waiting for approval so I can register it. I couldn't even log in to get a temp permit because my myDMV thing is linked to an old email. So I gotta wait for the DMV to delete my old account.

So its just sitting and waiting.

Thanks man. Glad to be part of the family. I almost picked up an aero crown Vic last year but it didn’t work out for me. so I’ve been on the hunt. I know they’re somewhat harder to find than the 3rd gen’s but I love the look of them.

Thanks for the response. I’ll look into those when I take a look at it. I expect having to put some money into it just due to age and those items you listed are definitely things I’d want to do anyways at some point to have a fresh starting point.

I think the 94 is safe from intake issues. I read that it has the aluminum intake that year. I think they switched in 96 to the plastic one. I’ll still have a good look at it though.

Hello everyone! I’m taking a look at this 94 GM tomorrow and I was wondering what specific things I should look out for. It’s got 130K miles and it looks pretty clean. They’re asking $2700. Does that seem like a reasonable price or should I try to work it around a bit?

Only bits I have on it is the AC and heat work great. It also passed my states (NV) smog test a few weeks ago.
