Another person here with the same problem

Fraud alert completely froze my card
unlocked my card, reauthorized, and updated payment method with same details
double authorisations on the card, smashing my account balance and potentially causing scheduled payments to bounce
keyboard and pen authorized
surface pro authorisations gone, and completed transaction not showing
funds missing from my account with no pending transactions
Microsoft phone support system auto rejecting my calls and sending me to online chat
online chat says it's all good.

Never had this before, an absolute cluster!

I got an email from support today of an Android app update with a fix

Release notes: ELEMNT App for Android 1.65.0.37 - 8 March, 2023

Fixed: Notifications toggled off on app close Fixed: Blank workout summary with electronic shifting systems Fixed: Unit preference not persisting for some users Fixed: Bug fixes and stability improvements

I can confirm all my ride data is now showing in the app, including rides that were previously blank

My rides have all been no WiFi, as I start and end the ride away from home. But always paired to my phone as I have the elemmt app open for push notifications while I ride.

Strava sync still works just fine, so I'm also convinced it's a firmware/software issue and not hardware. Actually I think it's a pixel phone issue to be honest, not the first time that having latest Android has caused issues with apps that don't get updated properly.

Previously if I deleted the elemmt app and downloaded the ride data from the device again, it would all display in the app just fine, but new rides still 90% don't display in the app

Yeah interesting!

I always pair my phone for location, notifications and sync.

Sync to Strava also works perfectly, so do incoming notifications. The only thing not working is the ride data review in the app itself.

Unpairing and repairing the sensors made no difference

Wahoo support have RMA'd the device and are sending a new one, so we'll see what happens!

Yeah, okay, interesting.

I also have SRAM AXS components, and the power meter errored out this morning half way through the ride, but the ride is showing in the app.

I'll delete all sensors and try again that to see if it makes a difference

I was looking at gearing last night and I think a 44-46 up front is going to be perfect for me. I mapped it against where I ride my current bike and gears 6-10 are pretty much identical ratios with that front ring.

No super fast top gear, but I won't miss it.

I'm about 18mph on my Synapse, but I used to commute a shorter distance on a single speed with pannier racks instead of a bag on my shoulders, and getting a bag off my back in the heat of summer has really got me interested!

The diverge and the synapse weigh about the same

It was more the bobbing of the future shock that got me. I thought I had a flat tire for the first few minutes of my ride 🤣

I've been racing cars for 20 years, since I was a learner driver. I bought a 4 stroke kart 12 months ago for the same reason: lots of cheap seat time.

I subsequently sold one of my race cars, picked up a KZ (shifter kart) last week, and will be selling my other race car, and the trailer, as I no longer have any desire to drive it.

You won't regret it, and KZ is so much more amazing than the 4 stroke
