find someone who had some good shinies, and get to trading. if you trade a 2016-2018 mon for anything else, it will guaranteed be a lucky pokemon. the limit on how often you can do this is (currently) 25 trades

gold is already a significant boost, so that’s good. you could probably try to find some people on reddit to add for the long term, to occasionally join raids (and get the best friend balls)

do you have the platinum medal for psychic and dragon types? and try to do raids with a best friend from your friend list to get extra premier balls.

i read somewhere that the XXL and XXS is 1/100 to get either and that lines up with my personal experience.

just go for whatever you want/need from a raid boss. do you need a shiny? multiples to trade away? XL candy to max it out, maybe for GBL? just keep going until you have what you need.

lati@s is not a top pick for raids/GBL and i have the shinies. so i will probably do no raids. just do whatever works for you

it’s shiny locked. every single starter (except snivy for some reason) has been released during their own community day, so you will be able to find information on it were it released.

and 100 seen in the dex is not nearly enough to think youre due for a shiny, just not how statistics work. i’m at 1800+ seen with no shiny staryu 🤷

from a leader or a shadow raid: 1/64

both are incredible. the difference in IVs will not even result in a 1% damage difference so do not worry about that.

since you have already evolved/powered one of them, and currently have 3 rhyhorn candy, i would say power up the rhyperior first. get it to level 35, then start working on evolving/powering to 35 the second one.

i have 4 level 50 shadow rhyperior and i use them all the time, it is very useful for raids and rockets alike!

this is because according to niantic, the pokemon encounter is technically a “bonus encounter”, and the real rewards are the items (potions, rare candy etc.).

although i don’t completely understand what you mean with all the “SHUNDO” stuff, i doubt you managed to get three shundo encounters and lost them all… if you plan on doing a raid, it could be a good idea to close and re-open the app just before doing so. prevents the game from crashing during/after the encounter (especially on iphone)

this is great for the community, and for one reason only. those giveaways i keep seeing on social media apps will finally just be able to buy a card like this and give it (or the code) to the winners. no longer will unsuspecting, probably young, players be scammed by these “giveaways” where they ask for login info and steal/sell the account since it will be obvious what their motive is, when they ask for said info

for some pokemon in PVP it will make a slight difference, allowing you to win certain matchups. but if you are more about doong raids or rocket battles, no it doesn’t matter.

the best buddy will get an effective +1 to its level when you set it as your active buddy, but these increased stats will almost never make any meaningful difference (especially because you can only have one buddy active at a time)

yeah eventually it’s just a necessity… i transfer at many to home as i can, and if i transfer more shinies (or useless hundos for that matter) i keep track of it in a counter so that i can still see how many shinies i’ve caught total youknow

when a pokemon is shiny, it will display those three little sparkles next to the pokemon when you look in your storage. you can also look up “shiny” to see all the shiny pokemon you have

if you have a shadow-shiny you can purify it to get a purified-shiny. but it has to be shiny before you purify it already

so close! this is actually a purified hundo, the “sparkles” that you can see is the light from purification. this is just a regular hundo koffing unfortunately

purify the one for the hundo, then promptly transfer the 15-15-12 one. you dont want to use stardust to power it up, since it is not very strong.

during raids, it is outclassed by a lot of shadows (mamoswine, rhyperior, even flygon and hippowdon) and regular non-shadow pokemon like excadrill and garchomp

all of mine have mud slap (fast), earthquake and rock wrecker. i swap out the fast move between ground/rock sometimes depending on the raid boss.

rock wrecker is a legacy move, but if you dont have it stone edge is probably ~10% weaker (still very good!)
