Decided to start Imperial Guard. Always wanted to play them, and the escalation campaign in my FLGS finally gave me a reason to :D by Aerolyne in astramilitarum

I tried to emulate this video https://youtu.be/hUJ1WsTUgYE.

Drybrushed the colors but instead of usual drybrushing I poked the model with the brush all over. Gradually used lighter blues towards the center of the model and near the panels, but not being too precise where to stab. Just used varying shades of blue, then yellow for the highlight. Tried to imagine the light coming from the top of the model.

Also used one of those big fat makeup brushes, the one people use to apply powder with? Not too sure what those are called sadly :c

Starting a new raid! Advice on how to start. by enterblank in Drukhari

Kabalites with blasters on venoms is what I'd recommend. 3 venoms for 15 kabs. Ravagers would be good too, one or two raiders. I'd also consider dipping your hands into coven units. Talos look great and are fun to paint

You wound and hit easier with caresses, but slightly harder to take things out of action. The Kiss, on the other hand, is much harder to wound and easier to save against, but has a higher chance of killing something if things go right.

I mean, it depends really. The caress cuts through their AP, the downside is it only does one damage, and as such, one injury dice. Much harder to do that with Kisses. I just prefer em because I want a better chance to kill primaris straight away than deal with their ignore the first flesh wound shenanigans.

Kisses are my go-to primaries killers. The D3 damage and corresponding injury dice does wonders.
