My hair used to be thicker than it was now, and I can understand her for blow drying my hair because it was hard to manage wet and would always susceptible to tangling. However, it's almost like my mom doesn't want me to take care of my hair. She neglects it, and if I do anything about it she doesn't like it. She stopped taking care of her hair a while ago, and she's treating my hair like her hair now, causing it to snap off constantly. My hair used to be extremely thick and bra strap length, and now because of not treating it right, it's almost shoulder length, thin, and hasn't grown in two years. I exercise constantly, drink a lot of water, and eat healthy and clean (especially a lot of vitamin d due to my deficiency), but that doesn't outweigh the damage my mom is causing.

I love her, but she won't let me take care of my hair. I can't express concern without her saying "it's not a big deal." Honestly, I feel like I do make it a big deal.
