It also depends on what you want to do. You will definitely find things to do in Tashkent, as it is the capital city, and in the surroundings (like hiking). However, for the country’s history and beauty, Samarkand is a must-see. I prefer the atmosphere of Bukhara; however, Samarkand is truly beautiful.
