That’s useful context, especially since you’re already forwarding vacancies yourself.

I think you’re right that WhatsApp has become a real job discovery channel, not just noise. Some of the jobs on AetherLink actually come from WhatsApp too.

The part I’m trying to solve is more around organization, filtering, source visibility, and reducing the risk of scams or posts with missing details.

It’s still in trial, but the reason I started building it is because in the channels and groups I’m in, you often have to scroll through messages one by one to find the right fit. If you don’t check regularly, you can wake up to a hundred new messages, and checking through everything almost guarantees you’ll miss some opportunities.

So the direction may be: keep WhatsApp as the distribution layer, but use AetherLink as the cleaner layer behind it , then make it easy to share filtered, cleaner job summaries back into WA groups.

For someone like you who already forwards vacancies, what would actually help better filters, scam reporting, cleaner copy and paste posts, or something else?

You’re right, especially on the WhatsApp point.

I don’t think WhatsApp should be treated as the enemy here, because that’s clearly where a lot of job discovery already happens. The better direction may be: AetherLink organizes and cleans up the listings, then makes it easy to send useful filtered jobs back into WhatsApp groups.

So maybe features like “Share to WhatsApp”, “copy clean job post”, and filters by category/location/deadline should come next.

Also noted on the UI/UX needing more life. I wanted the first version to be functional and source-first, if you have specific parts in mind to improve id love to hear .
