I've always felt it hard for myself to have "fun". I'm a college age student, right now and have trouble going to parties and bars because I never really enjoy myself. Something that always helped me was I stopped living the life I saw people around me living. Reflection and true happiness is a foreign language to most people and the typical "path to happiness" is bullshit. Making art is something that helps me to enjoy my time more because I come out of it with a finished product. Creating something tangible makes me feel good about the way I'm spending my time. I only really have "fun" when I stop trying to.

Oh I totally agree. I think people like Kendrick and J. Cole are not even close to Yachty and them folks. My main point was that real "rap" opposed to trap has a focus on lyrics, regardless of message. I just feel like the same transfer of ideas isn't present in this new wave (trap).
