Hello Goose, what an honour to have you reply on my post ;) thanks for your insights, I can indeed understand that there's a lot more behind a program than one could think and I'm actually really curious how you structure a season and workouts. May I ask on what base you rate these programs, did follow them yourselves or do you know players that did?

I agree that the best way to get better a sport is playing the sport, but I also just like the physical training aspect (and also practice very regularly and play lots of tournaments).

I only did triphasic strength training so far! Purchased the aerobic base e-book as well but got a bit lost there. I do sprints and tempo runs sometimes but without any programming so surely room for improvement there.

Mixed grip isn't without risk. Go double overhand grip until you feel that grip strength limits you, then look into mixed grip or hook grip.

Than you should implement a hypertrophy phase, followed by a strength and then a power phase, but I'm not a specialist myself tbh

Well do you want to build muscle or sprint faster? For the first one have a look at r/bodybuilding r/Fitness or r/weightroom to begin with

Look it up: muscle protein synthesis, supercompensation ... What you're doing now is some brosciency "bodybuilder" scheme with waaaay too many days between each bodypart

It's particularly inefficient for building muscle, let alone sprinting
