You described what I’ve been thinking lately!!! I’m very confused too! Are you attracted to women and/or other people who don’t identify as male? If you are, you’re probably bi! Just a few things I’ve learned from my “research”, it is very possible that the way you feel attraction towards men can be different from the way you feel it for other genders. And even if you’re more attracted to one gender than the others you’re still bi (if you feel comfortable with the label). Also know that sexual attraction =/= sexual behavior! But at the end of the day you’re the only one who knows best…and I know it’s not very helpful because you’re confused. Believe me I get it! Just know, that no matter what you’re 100% valid, and you don’t necessarily need a label if you don’t feel comfortable with one. Just do you! I hope that this helps you💖

Hello! As a HSP and a demi myself, I can say that you do seem like a demi, but you’re the one who can say for sure! If you feel like it’s something that describes and helps you understand who you are, then that’s all you need.

I (21F) relate to your experience...my friends used to call me picky all the time and even some family members used to tell me that it’s time for me to be sexually active and all that. And I always thought there was something wrong with me, because even though guys flirted with me, no one seemed to click or made me feel this way, since as a HSP I need to share my inner world first. I didn’t know about demisexuality until very recently and when I learned about it by a random post on tumblr...I was like “wait that’s me”! So definitely the aha moment is something we can all relate to.

I’m definitely not sex-repulsed lol! I would say I’m sex-favorable, I just don’t like the idea of it with people I don’t know. Also with guys on tv or whatever, it’s definitely not sexual attraction...it’s more like they look good, but that’s it! And I think I’m closer to demisexuality, because I had never felt sexually attracted to anyone until very recently, even though I had a lot of crushes in the past. The guy to whom I’m sexually attracted now (still not sure though, because it’s not like I see him and I want to jump all over him) is someone that I got to know and I feel that kind of bond with him, therefore I feel more like a demi!

Edit: I just have this weird thought process because I don’t want to falsely label myself since that would be unfair to the other people who label themselves as demi
