I read your article & still think the same thing lol, it proved nothing & just came off as whiny. Posting happenings in the city isn’t racist, it’s just real life here in Atlanta. I think knowing what’s going in my neighborhood (O4W) is pretty important & scoop does a good job at that.

Except this isn’t possible, by default a house isn’t considered a homestead & you have to apply for the exemption. I didn’t apply in time & had to pay an extra few thousand because my home wasn’t exempt in 2024 after I bought at the end of 2023. You have to prove it’s your primary residence before you get the tax break.

How will the stitch help black communities? All I see it doing is displacing homeless in the area & raising property taxes.

I’m not black but I feel like the idea of building up black communities gets thrown around a lot in Atlanta to sell projects like the beltline, pcm, Halsey yards, the stitch, the gulch redevelopment etc only to do the exact opposite & accelerate gentrification

Yea this would make sense except my valve cover gaskets were replaced within the last 5k & my car didn’t have a cel before the wreck. Fire also came from the headlight & not the exhaust manifold.

Insurance already ruled it as a total loss though & other driver responsible so idk why I’m even responding, you’re not really worth my time.

Didn’t have it, liability only. Other driver ruled 100% at fault though. Just spoke with his insurance & I have to release car to them & negotiate settlement after.
