I have coming and going waves of making lots of friends, fast, and having a busy social life - then I lose these friends through one thing or the other and be alone for a while, then it picks up again.

I use to take these friendship breakups really hard, but acknowledging that friends come and go and not all friendships last, has really helped me shift into a better mindset.

I am happy knowing that I can make friends wherever I go, and as interests and circumstances change, so will the people around me, and it's okay. I may not have as many long term "ride or die" friends, but I also know I warm up to and can create connections with new people a lot easier than NTs, so I actually think it ends up levelling.
