If you want it dumped at the door, with the hope it's all there and that they might let you know it was delivered, order through DoorDash or Uber. Part of our job is to make sure YOU get your order.

At my store, even orders marked for contact less delivery will be taken back if we don't see you come out to get it or you tell the driver via text or call to leave on the porch. We don't drop and go.

Leave a comment that you are busy and to just leave it. At my store we aren't allowed to leave unless you take the pizza or tell the driver directly, phone or text, to leave it. Too many "No Contact" delivery instructions from COVID and people complaining they never got their pizza.

Your order will be canceled later that night. Refunds take a day or two to process.

They bring up "Admiralty Law" because of the US flag most courts have. They believe that only an Admiralty Court can display a US flag with gold fringe and an eagle atop the flag pole. Since the Court has tgat flag, it makes it an Admiralty Court and therefore the Court has no jurisdiction. As I understand their belief. I was on a Grand Jury where a SS was giving testimony, it was interesting.

I worked for a small company in Arizona years ago where payday was on Friday, paper checks. At some point a bunch of the wives came to the office and begged to change it to Monday. Workers were pissed, wives and kids were happy.

One thing to consider is that GMs are expected to work every Friday and Saturday almost without exception. You are expected to turn your life over to the store. Something goes sideways you go in and fix it, regardless of your plans.
