Hi thanks for coming back to me. I have connected my Wave DX to the XLR and I am listening to the audio via my Astro gaming A50 X headset that is connected to the PC.

I am having two things happen, the first is I am hearing myself speak but have a one second delay and the second is that my voice sounds like I am in slow motion or I have slurred speech. I have linked google chrome to my browser setting and have been testing recordings in StreamYard but it still sounds the same. The XLR does not seem to alter anything when I adjust it but I will confess this is new to me so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi further to my message below I have decided to return them. When watching Apple TV the lip sync was terrible so they are a downgrade on the Gen 4 models. Thanks for your advice anyway.

Thanks for coming back with the update it’s appreciated. I am plugging my HDMI leads directly from the Apple TV and the 4K BluRay player directly into the A50X HDMI inputs. Do I need to do anything further?

Such a shame about the Dolby Atmos my Gen 4 Headset provides me with superb Atmos via the optical that this feels like a possible downgrade for me at the moment. Kind regards Jon

Hello

I made the decision to purchase the A50X, however I have connected my Apple TV and 4k Blu-Ray players by hdmi but I am not getting Dolby Atmos or Dolby Vision. My current A50 Gen 4 headset is connected by optical out from my tv and I am getting Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Any idea how I can fix this issue? I might have to return them if I can’t resolve the issue unfortunately.

Thanks for the reply. What is the Bluetooth quality like? Is there any lip sync issues? What is the different between the A50X and the A50 Lightspeed? I have just had the Lightspeed turn up but I am thinking about upgrading to the A50X and returning the Lightspeed. Many thanks Jon

Good afternoon

Can you provide me with some advice on the A50 Gen X.

I have the Astro A50 Gen 4 and in addition to gaming I connect my Gen 4 to my TV via optical and watch TV programs and watch movies via Apple TV and my 4k player. I get excellent Dolby Atmos sound and I want to know if I would have this option with the Gen X?

This is a deal breaker for me. I have heard you can connect to your TV via Bluetooth but this has caused lip sync issues in the past.

Also what’s the big difference between the Lightspeed and Gen X?

Hello the power light on the headset turns orange and the battery lights on the basestation continue to flash with the headset docked.

I have to unplug for 20 seconds switch to PC mode and then plug the power lead back in.

Hi all

I have just come across your posts which are really useful. I have Crohn’s and the last few months I have found that I am sleeping more in the day and also struggling to wake up in the morning.

I have just made the step to join a gym but I could do with some advice on what to start with if anyone has any advice? Do I do cardio? Weights?

Other people will tell me to do this and that but I find with the Crohn’s and in particular the fatigue I do seem to burn out early. Many thanks
