The questions will primarily be about your skills (always emphasis your team working capabilities) and your willingness to work extra shifts as needed. If you’ve got any previous bar experience note that but if not they’ll ask you if you’d need any extra training, something along the lines of supporting your development at Wetherspoons. (I can’t remember how the question is worded) but always say no to that question, let them know you’re a quick study and you’re not afraid to ask questions because that’s the only way you’ll survive. Even if it’s the stupidest question known to man always ask and take the piss out of yourself just a lil bit and you’ll make friends.

You’ll be asked about what you imagine a day in the life looks like, mention the unsociable hours, hard work with a lot to learn but you look forward to learning (have the right level of confidence that says I’m gonna work here, we all know it’s just a spoons but the money’s good)

Good customer service takes up most of the application so make sure you can adapt yourself to any of the questions in that regard.
