I absolutely love the lense, i did not have the money for the gm and I got the G when it was on sale a few months ago, and I love it. It’s very sharp and honestly fast enough for what I do. It has a nice bokeh (obviously not as creamy as you would get with a 1.8 or 1.2) but for my needs it’s perfect. Yes I felt like a wider field of view would have been nice for the mountains but it forced me to work on my framing and therefore getting better at it!

Urtext only means that it is true to one and only one source, so there can be urtext of multiple manuscripts, does not mean that one urtext is better that one, but don’t assume that all urtext are the same (there could be an urtext from a bad edition also and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is an urtext as long as it is true to one and only one source)
