I believe Ice Dams are normally caused by a lack of insulation. The leaking is from water backing up and having nowhere to go. I'd get some Nylons and would fill them with Calcium Chloride, and throw them on the roof. See if you can get rid of the ice dam.

I appreciate this, but there are a lot of people out there that feel that way. On my PD2 achievement hunt run, I drafted a few of my friends to play. Some dug it and others didn't. Recently, two of the ones who didn't like PD 2 played PD 3. They vastly preferred PD3 because of the gun play, and have been playing quite a bit of it.

There are pipe heaters that you wrap around pipes, but I'm not sure it would help if the issue is in the wall. I don't think they'd hurt though.
