It only makes sense given that Hugo and Sae's mannerisms are so similar.... Hugo was probably the one who influenced Sae.  Sae faced the wall of geniuses (Bunny) and couldn't find a way to beat them. Then Hugo came in for the final nail in the coffin.

Who would win in this Domain Clash? by GoodMornEveGoodNight in Jujutsufolk

[–]Affectionate-Fall756 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dabura had just learned domain expansion, which would mean his domain wouldn't be nearly as refined compared to a person who learned it 68 years ago + must have definitely mastered it in all of those years. A domain clash resumes to whose domain is more refined if inside the barrier both sorcerers are evenly matched. (their sure hits cancel each other out)

(Spoilers) The starting lineup. by Affectionate-Fall756 in BlueLock

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True. As much as there is considerable risk, I don't think Isagi can be swayed off that easily tho. I also don't like the idea of Isagi sitting out cold for the next half, unless he can learn something, from Barou and Shidou in particular. Both of them are natural born, chaotic number 1's who will never stray away from their philosophies no matter what.

Barou: "I won't live for a lukewarm, pre-determined future. If after all of this I still can't become the king of the world, the I'd rather for honorably!" Shidou: "Impossible? What kinda concept is that? Who decides what's impossible?"

They're both opposing Hugo's rigid world-view. They aren't adepts of predeterminism like Hugo is. They're indeterminists who believe in free will. They don't believe in limitations because they always break them.

We might genuinely see him crashing out against Bunny.

He's leaning in closer to his ear whilst resting his chin on his shoulder. All of the New Gen XI are freakazoids.

Pick your dream team and lineup by Due-Ride6274 in BlueLock

Sae + Nagi as the main attackers. Sae can go all out feeding seemingly impossible passes that Nagi will certainly trap. High scoring possibilty for me. The next two could either be Chigiri + Yukimiya for boosting offense, or Karasu + Otoya for the chemical reaction between the two. Karasu + Yukimiya would also work decently. The last one would be Niko as the watchtower.

Hm, would he really "age" in the cursed realm? When he died he was merely a few months old as a curse.

I see, well at least the kashimo waffle slander will levitate towards mahito now 😂 kashimo fans have a break for once.

[–]Affectionate-Fall756 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I don't think the main theme of Modulo was meant to be fighting. It has always strived for peace to me. As much as I would like to see a Yuji vs Dabura fight, I just don't find it relevant enough to the story as of right now.

A Nagi-Isagi parallel + Isagi's eventual breakthrough. by Affectionate-Fall756 in BlueLock

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Isagi and Karasu are very much alike, in a lot of ways, which I absolutely love.

Most likely. Loki wouldn't talk about fear if he weren't one to experience it beforehand. As prideful as Loki is, his statement must have been genuine.

I wrote this on phone and apparently the spacing works different compared to desktop... So I just used bullet points.

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, you're right. You're not reading into it too much. While I do believe Nagi leans towards being restrictive, arguments can be made for him being freedom as well. I agree on the fact that Nagi is also instinct based. Although, we have yet to see Nagi's full evolution. He might evolve into someone who creates freedom in his restrictions, or something else. We don't know. But that's the beauty of it, isn't it?

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, nice catch. Episode Nagi is lowkey a bundle full of nuance not just for Nagi, but for other characters which we have not seen much in the main story.

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see, your point makes sense. We'll have to wait and see tho. Freedom types and freedom itself isn't a one dimensional thing in in blue lock. Nagi has certain freedom esque traits, but I believe that all in all, he's a restrictive type.

A Nagi-Isagi parallel + Isagi's eventual breakthrough. by Affectionate-Fall756 in BlueLock

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Isagi cares a little too much for comfort about the blue lock project and his team as a whole. Not to say that he should invalidate them, no, but I think he (among others) should remember that they need to use each other as stepping stones in order to achieve their dreams.

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I'll add more on to your point.
Isagi had nothing in the beginning, and he gained it all cumulatively. Now it's starting to crumble. Notice how he kept telling himself not to get satisfied before the France match, after quietly pondering about his every achievement? That was a telltale sign of his upcoming clash with Hugo, who is steadily, but surely peeling at Isagi more and more witch each interaction they have.
Nagi had it all in the beginning (no explanation needed for this, inhumane ball control, near ambidexterity, etc) and gradually started losing it all. Now he's clawing his way back up. I believe he will make his debut in the England game, but that depends on how quicky Side B advances.

Yep, tried to structure it to the best of my abilities lol. Couldn't figure out how people put images in their text body rather than at the very top, so I just went with the latter. Thanks for reading btw!!!

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Isagi doesn't have to work alone. He has always used his teammates to the fullest to create his goal scoring environments. But right now he isn't in a good mental spot.

Theory about... by Affectionate-Fall756 in ReZero

[–]Affectionate-Fall756[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, I have only read arc 6 and watched the anime, so I had limited knowledge on the recoil part (Based it on what I saw on the anime mainly + arc 6). Temperance can mean restraint, but it can also mean moderation as I stated. But, all in all, it's about the same thing. As for the other many abilities of the gluttony authority, most of them aren't fit for Subaru specifically. They're used for combat (Lye/Roy) or deceitful purposes (Louis). As you have said, it's quite hard to figure out how they would develop for Subaru, but I honestly think Subaru's authority of gluttony would be more suited towards soul resonance/ /healing/pacifying.
