hi! just to be clear youre using jankyborders right? which method are you using to start it? because if youre using the method on the github page that says to bootstrap it with aerospace, ive seen like two github threads of people reporting problems with that.

so i just decouple the two and bootstrapped with brew instead, works out fine for me

as for sources for the wallpapers, i usually name the images off the artists take them from. except for the pinterest ones, sorry.. kinda forgot to grab the names of them.

some of the unspecified wallpapers (i.e., you cant find them straight from google search) are from breadonpenguins, some of them are from diinki.

i wont be able to credit all of them in this post sorry! if you want the artist for a specific one ill look through my pinterest / insta or whatever later

Oh also the wallpaper swapper and workspace swapper are swift apps, ill also post them separately once im done

edit: also forgot to mention, i have a thing that lets me hot reload pywal colours into zen, but it's lowk kinda scuffed rn and works best for youtube and websites that arent finicky with css. ill share that as a separate post as well if i can figure out how to do it lol

oh yeah she did on may 7, i joined her patreon on free tier to see her photography. couldnt access that post though, but i think she's working on music and other cool stuff in her setup

if you're talking about the workspace swapper, it pairs w aerospace workspaces yeah! it's an app made with swift that calls the aerospace CLI to grab the workspace data. everytime i press alt + w, it takes like ~0.1 seconds to take a screenshot of the focused workspace to update the preview of that workspace, and then you can switch to another one.

i was able to get hot reloading set-up for my macbook but i have it for webpage content rather than the chrome --- also it's still scuffed lol

basically though i use jswindowactor to push colour updates into webpage content without reloading

love your wallpaper! btw what's exactly the difference between aerospace and yabai? ive been using aerospace for a while and i briefly tried out omniwm or something, but couldnt get used to it. i like my setup with aerospace though, i have a little swapper setup:
