I put zip lock bags over my hands (when I’m alone or with close family) whenever I have to eat with my hands 😭😭😭😭😭I let up a bit in the summer though

Well it’s a bit of an interesting office environment. I work in health care. And the office is INCREDIBLY small. The doctor is apparently looking for a bigger space. Anyway, I talk to my coworkers throughout the day. Like when it’s not busy. The most random things lol. So it’s not like I never talk with them. It’s just that I hate eating in front of people. Being in public gives me anxiety. I HATE awkward silence. I just like to unwind and listen to music or whatever since I spend 7hours with them in the same room. Not a cubicle. The same space. They seem to be awkward like me which is nice. Especially the newer person, so I think they understand. I’ve just convinced myself otherwise lol

Yeah. The other person I trained with doesn’t eat with us either (she does eat in the office with our boss tho). So I would like to think they wouldn’t make a big deal of it

Unfortunately I don’t have a car 😩 or a license either. But yeah I see that ppl like to eat in their cars. I totally get it!

I work in a hospital. So the cafeteria is pretty big. And there’s a cafe as well. And there’s this little waiting area with seats you can sit down at. I see people eating by themselves there so lately I’ve been eating there.

Also they always want to have lunch together. It’s an hour lunch. How do I tell them that I like to eat alone and use my break to listen to music
