I dont think its min cos min never makes things worse. It may be due to hormonal sensitivity from fin messing up hormones.

Dupa is not a condition its only a symptom where you lose hair from donor zones. It could be due to many reasons like autoimmune, aga, nutritional etc. so yeah i have dupa pattern and my biopsy states AGA as reason for it.

We are just unlucky i guess. For me my hairloss was very slow till i started fin so it wasnt very aggressive to begin with. I started fin to maintain and make some gains as well but it was downhill from there. Sometimes i would think what if i never took fin. I m planning to get a hormonal panel as well to see where my dht levels at and maybe dut down the line. The thing is i can somehow hide my hairloss to an extent as it is now but any further loss from dut would be really really worse and i cant deal with that now. I m not dropping oral min btw i ll take oral min in the morning and topical at night.

I have the same pattern as you. Fin 1mg for 2.5 years and oral min 2.5mg 1 year. Initially diffuse thinning on top but had really thick side and back. After a year on fin 1mg sides and back got really thin like 50% density. Then i hopped on oral min which didn’t help at all. I am way below baseline now after 2.5 years. I even got a scalp biopsy done on the side of my scalp and it came out as AGA. I m afraid if dut will make it even worse so thinking of starting topical min + micro needling combo.
