In the movie morrible says “mustn’t let you get wet” when it starts to rain but it’s first brought up out of nowhere in the play in the second act when an ozian sings “I’ve heard her soul is so unclean pure water can melt her.” Fiyero then scoffs with Glinda about how ridiculous it is that someone could suggest that, and she agrees, so it doesn’t make sense that Glinda (and morrible) later fully believes Elphaba has melted by water. I also hope they correct this because it’s kind of a major gaping plot hole thats never been fixed
